 Autumn Semester 2020 purchasing period with Financial Aid has ended.  Third Party Sponorship (Voc Rehab/BVR) purchasing period has ended. College Credit Plus Bookstore Vouchers for high school students will end on November 14th. To check your financial aid funds please login to your CougarWeb account. The Bookstore's website (this site) cannot be used to check financial aid funds. For more info on Financial Aid eligible products or important dates, please vist this page.

How to make a purchase on the CSCC Bookstore Website.

  • Go to https://bookstore.cscc.edu
  • Accounts are created once you place an order, you cannot create one first. See your confirmation e-mail for your user name and password. Make sure you type your e-mail address correctly when placing your first order or your login and password for your account will not be deliverable.
  • Comments left on your order are seen by bookstore staff only. Delivery requests must be communicated to UPS directly.

If Purchasing Textbooks:

  • Click on Find Textbooks and Course Materials at the top of the home page. It is best to have a copy of your schedule in front of you to reference your class information.
  • Please note that any comments left on your order are seen by bookstore staff only. Any delivery request must be communicated to UPS directly.
  • Select the appropriate Academic Term box (EX: Autumn 2020), Department of study box, they are listed in alphabetical order (EX; ACCT), course number box, listed in numerical order (EX:1212), and section box if applicable (EX: All Sect Staff,Staff). Scroll down to see your textbooks. Me mindful of Required, Optional, or Choice groups. Choice means you pick only one of that group.
  • Checkmark items you want to purchase and click add to cart, repeat this process for each class you are taking, then continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
  • Insert/verify payment information.
  • Be sure to scroll down click "Review order" verify everything is correct. Scroll to the bottom of the review page and click "Submit order". If you do not click "Submit order" at the bottom of the review page your order will not be placed.

If Purchasing General Merchandise:

  • Select desired product category on the left hand side of the page.
  • Select appropriate size and/or color of items if necessary.
  • Add any desired materials to your cart, then continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

Can I place an online order with Financial Aid and a Credit Card in the same order?

I'm sorry no, we can't split payments between Financial Aid and Credit Cards on the website. You either have to place an order with Financial Aid under the amount you have in your account, or place 2 orders, one with Financial Aid under the amount you have, and then a credit card order for the remaining items. If you place an online order for more than you have in your Financial Aid account, the order will be cancelled.

Can I use this website to check my financial aid funds?

I'm sorry no, you can only use CougarWeb to check your financial aid funds.

Can I cancel my order once it has been placed? 

Once an order has been placed it cannot be canceled. Due to COVID-19 All returns must be shipped to the Columbus Campus Bookstore with your online receipt. If your return does not follow our Return Policy, your return will be shipped back to you.

What if I received the wrong book?

How long does it take to process/deliver my order? Due to COVID-19 UPS Shipping is free for Autumn Semester 2020.

UPS ground orders are filled and ready to ship within 1-4 business days. Tracking information will be sent from UPS via e-mail once your order is picked up. Once UPS picks up orders, UPS ground orders will be delivered anywhere in Ohio within 1 business day as long as there are no issues with your address. Please note UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, if you ship to a PO Box your order will be delayed.

Due to COVID-19 all of our pickup options are Suspended Select Regional Learning Centers or Delaware Campus pick-up. Orders will arrive within 2-4 business days (this excludes weekends and holidays) from the order date, no shipping confirmation is available.  Visit https://www.cscc.edu/about/locations/index.shtml to verify operational hours for order pickup. A valid photo ID is required for pickup (Cougar ID, driver's license, state ID, and military ID). Financial aid orders may only be picked up by the student. Choose from the following locations:

How do I receive my access code or eBook? 

Access codes and eBooks are NOT delivered electronically, but will ship based on the delivery method chosen.

Can I order online to have books picked up at the Columbus State Bookstore? 

We do not offer web order pickup at the Columbus Campus Bookstore. Due to COVID-19 the Columbus Campus Store will remain closed for Autumn Semester 2020, you may purchase Textbooks and Course Materials through our website. https://bookstore.cscc.edu/

What additional products and services are available at the Columbus State Bookstore?

Due to COVID-19 some of these services are not available Autumn Semester 2020. The Bookstore offers COTA passes, stamps, fax services, snacks, candy, drinks, outgoing mail drop box for USPS, and laptop bars on the second floor. Also located in the Discovery Exchange Retail Center is a Subway restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
