1. When does the Bookstore offer textbook buyback?
At this time we only buy books back during finals week on the second floor of the bookstore each semester.
2. What additional products and services are available at the Columbus State Bookstore?
The Bookstore offers COTA passes, stamps, fax services, snacks, candy, drinks, outgoing mail drop box for USPS, and laptop bars on the second floor.

1. How do I make a purchase on the CSCC Bookstore Website?
Go to https://bookstore.cscc.edu and add items to your cart following the purchasing instructions below. Accounts are created once you place an order, you cannot create one first. After placing an order see your confirmation e-mail for your user name and password. Make sure you type your e-mail address correctly when placing your first order, or your login and password for your account will not be deliverable.
Comments left on orders are seen by bookstore staff only. If you would like to request any instructions for delivery, such as where to leave a package, then you MUST reach out to UPS directly once you receive tracking information.
2. How do I find and purchase Textbooks and Course Materials for my class?
Click on Textbook Lookup at the top of the home page. It is best to have a copy of your schedule in front of you to reference your class information.
Select the appropriate Academic Term, Department, Course, and Section box on the drop-down menu for each class on your schedule, example: Academic Term: Autumn 2022. Department: ACCT (listed in alphabetical order). Course Number: 1200 (listed in numerical order). Section, if applicable: All, Sections (only sections with a W before the number on your schedule are considered WEB sections, example: [BIO-1100-W30]).
Scroll down to see if any textbook(s) are listed for your course. Be mindful of Required, Optional, or Choice groups. Choice means you select only one of that group. Please note, if your class uses Instant Access there is no textbook required to purchase from the website for that or any other Instant Access class you are taking. If there are optional materials available to purchase, they will be listed in the optional section of the textbook search. If you don't see an optional section, there are no optional titles available to purchase.
Checkmark each item listed that you want to purchase, and then click add to cart. Repeat this process for each class you are taking, then continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
Insert/verify payment and shipping information on the checkout screen.
Scroll down and click "Review Order" to verify everything on the order is correct.
Scroll to the bottom of the review page and click "Submit Order" to finalize your purchase. NOTE: Your order will not be placed If you do not click "Submit Order".
3. How do I purchase General Merchandise?
Go to the left hand side of the page and select the desired product category.
Select the appropriate size and/or color of items, if necessary.
Add items you would like to purchase to your cart, then continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
Insert/verify payment and shipping information on the checkout screen.
Scroll down and click "Review Order" to verify everything on the order is correct.
Scroll to the bottom of the review page and click "Submit Order" to finalize your purchase. NOTE: Your order will not be placed If you do not click "Submit Order".
4. Can I place an online order with Financial Aid and a Credit Card in the same order?
I'm sorry no, we can't split payments between Financial Aid and Credit Cards on the website. You either have to place an order with Financial Aid under the amount you have in your account, or place 2 orders, one with Financial Aid under the amount you have, and then a credit card order for the remaining items. If you place an online order for more than you have in your Financial Aid account, the order will be cancelled.
5. Can I use this website to check my financial aid funds?
I'm sorry no, you can only use CougarWeb to check your financial aid funds.
6. Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?
Once an order has been placed it cannot be canceled. Please return the item following our return policy, to:

7. What if I received the wrong book?
Please contact the Website Coordinator at bookstoreweb@cscc.edu to resolve the issue.
8. How long does it take to process/deliver my order?
UPS ground orders are filled and ready to ship within 1-4 business days. Tracking information will be sent from UPS via e-mail once your order is picked up. Once UPS picks up orders, UPS ground orders will be delivered anywhere in Ohio within 1 business day as long as there are no issues with your address. Please note UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, if you ship to a PO Box your order will be delayed.
9. How do I receive my access code or eBook?
Access codes and eBooks purchased from the bookstore are NOT delivered electronically, but will ship based on the delivery method chosen.
10. Can I order online to have books picked up at the Columbus State Bookstore?
We do not offer web order pickup at the Columbus Campus Bookstore. You may purchase Textbooks and Course Materials through our website and have them shipped to your home: https://bookstore.cscc.edu/
