Important Bookstore Announcement

Governor DeWine has called for the Statehouse and all state buildings in Columbus to be closed from Sunday through Wednesday of next week.  All Columbus State buildings including the Bookstore will be closed January 17 – 20.  Given the possibility of unsafe conditions in the downtown area, college employees and students may not come to the Columbus campus (downtown).
 
Orders placed on January 16 or after will not be fulfilled until after employees are permitted to return to campus.  Please note it may take several business days to process your order.  Faculty are aware of these circumstances and will be understanding of the situation.

Due to COVID-19 website returns must be shipped to the Columbus Campus Store with your online receipt, items that do not qualify for a refund with the below policy will be shipped back to you and not refunded.

Return Policy

A receipt is required for refund or exchange.
Returns will be made in the original form of payment with the receipt.

The Columbus State Bookstore will process a return on textbooks (excludes all eBooks) and merchandise in original condition provided the return is made within 14 days after the first day of the term with the receipt. Purchases made after this period must be returned within 7 days from date of purchase. Non-Returnable Merchandise: Opened or used merchandise, accidental warranty plans, COTA passes, gift cards, and stamps. Please note:

  • Ebook purchases must be returned within 14 days from purchase date and must be in original condition. Exposed access codes are not eligible for return.
  • New books and materials must be in the condition you received them.
  • Shrink-wrapped bundles or books must be unopened and in mint condition.
  • Software and/or access codes sold separately or included with a book must be unopened/code not revealed.
  • Opened or used merchandise, COTA passes, and accidental warranty plans are non-returnable.
  • Defective products that offer a product warranty must be resolved with the manufacturer.

Returns will be made in the original form of payment with receipt. Credit/debit card refunds typically post within 3-10 business days (excludes weekend and holidays). Financial Aid refunds will post immediately.
